Mick crossan

Founder

Mick Crossan was born in Latimer Road, Shepherds Bush to Irish parents, Jack originally from Cavan and Kathleen from Galway, and he with his elder brother Sean started Powerday in 1977.

Since then Powerday has grown to become one of the leading independent waste management companies operating in England with facilities in 3 locations in London.

John Naughton

Treasurer

John is 61 years old and has worked for Powerday for the past 27 years in the capacity of Finance Director. His connection with the Crossan Family family goes back even further as he grew up in Wembley with Powerday

Paul King

Secretary/Co-Ordinator

Paul is aged 59 and has had a varied work and voluntary life, starting as an Amateur Boxing Coach producing national champions and Olympians representing Great Britain and later after working for two decades with Liverpool City Council becoming Chief Executive of the Amateur Boxing Association of England and implementing a drive of change management.

Bill Cox

Committee

Bill is aged 67 and is currently the Transport Manager for Powerday having been an employee of the company since 2008 and been part of implementing change management and a London road safety initiatives and is a member of the LRSO, whilst also being a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Having been involved in Amateur Boxing since 11 years of age, he has been a life-long member of the famous Repton Amateur Boxing Club and a volunteer in the sport as an Internationally renowned Referee/Judge having officiated at World level, Chairman of the National Referees and Judges Commission, whilst also being elevated to Secretary of the European Referees and Judges Commission. Member. He is a committed family man and seeks to help young people to find the right path in life.
