Wood Recycling
Powerday provides wood recycling services designed to make the best use of the materials we receive. In 2024, we sent over 9,000 tonnes of wood to Timberpak, ensuring it was recycled into high-quality chipboard.
EGGER products are found in countless areas of private and public life, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, hotels and shops. EGGER is a full-range supplier for the furniture industry, interior design, wood construction, and wood-based flooring (laminate, cork, and design flooring) industries.
Recently we had the fantastic opportunity to tour the EGGER UK Timberpak recycling facility in Yorkshire, to see first hand and report more about the process of manufacturing waste wood into chipboard.
During our visit, we heard from Mark Hayton and our very own Simon Little discussing the wood recycling process.
