Countryside Partnerships are currently carrying out the development of Peel Estate, an ambitious project aimed at revitalising a previously underused area in Kilburn, North-West London. The project’s objective was to blend residential housing with green spaces and community amenities, promoting a sustainable living environment. Powerday has been providing waste management services on this project such as various sized skips and COSHH bin collections.

For the project, Countryside Partnerships have been employing innovative design techniques that are emphasising open spaces, pedestrian pathways, and local flora to enhance biodiversity. They have been utilising eco-friendly materials and construction methods. Emphasis was placed on creating durable, low-maintenance homes that align with contemporary environmental standards. Upon completion, the Peel Estate will consist of over 300 mixed-use homes, including apartments, townhouses, and detached homes. The estate will feature solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and green roofs, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the community.
Recycling
Powerday have been providing waste management solutions to the Peel Estate development throughout the early phases of the project and the latest one to date. Phase 4 of the project has seen a collection of 32.65 tonnes of material managed by Powerday, with 87.02% recycled with 12.98% energy recovered.
