Our Old Oak Sidings materials recycling facility (MRF) in Willesden Junction, North-West London, has the capacity to process 1.6 million tonnes of waste from across London and the home counties. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, your recycling and waste can be collected or delivered to this site at times that suit you.

About Powerday

Since Old Oak Sidings became operational in 2006, we have invested over £40million in plant and equipment to provide 100% diversion from landfill, for all non-hazardous waste, meeting the requirements of a wide range of clients including construction and demolition companies, local authorities and commercial businesses. Using the latest technology, this plant and equipment enables us to recycle and recover valuable resources and produce refuse derived fuels which we supply to energy-from-waste plants across the UK and Europe.

With a licence to handle 60,000 of hazardous waste, our Old Oak Sidings facility also enables us to offer comprehensive hazardous waste solutions to the construction industry and other large producers of CoSHH waste across London and the home counties.
Old Oak Sidings has an onsite training room to provide safe and effective viewpoints for clients and other visitors interested in learning more about the recycling and recovery process.

With the ability to receive and move out materials by canal, rail or road, Old Oak Sidings is one of the most flexible facilities in the country. The site is situated at a key railway junction and has its own sidings. We are able to transport materials throughout the UK using the rail network with one train holding the equivalent of 70 lorry loads of material.
Located on a 26-mile lock-free section of the Grand Union Canal between Camden and Slough, the site also has its own wharf. One barge is able to transport up to 80 tonnes of waste, the equivalent of 12 skip loads. Find out more about the opportunity to transport waste by water from waterside developments to our site.

Whether you’re carrying out commercial operations and need a long-term arrangement, a small skip for a project at home or you have a large operation and require a solution to maximise the amount of waste you can dispose of, we offer skip hire from our MRF in Willesden Junction.
Cost-effective and convenient, our skip hire services utilise our extensive fleet throughout surrounding boroughs. We have a range of skip sizes and provide delivery and collection at times to suit you and your location. We can even offer a wait and load service if access or permits are not an option on your street. Regardless of the skip service you choose, you’ll be taking the hassle out of waste and disposing of it in a responsible manner through Powerday.
