Powerday Achieves Independent Third Party Verification of Carbon Emissions Across All Scopes
Powerday is pleased to announce a major milestone in its sustainability reporting. For the first time, the Powerday’s greenhouse gas emissions data across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions has been independently third party verified in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064 standards.
This independent verification, led by RPS, provides assurance that our carbon data is accurate, complete and aligned with internationally recognised best practice.
This achievement demonstrates Powerday’s commitment to transparent, accurate and high quality carbon reporting. Independent verification provides assurance that the company’s reported emissions data has been prepared in line with globally recognised methodologies and has been reviewed for completeness and material accuracy.
The verified emissions inventory and assurance statement are included within Powerday’s 2025/26 Sustainability Manifesto, covering the reporting period and all significant sources of emissions across the business and its value chain.
The importance of independent verification
The Greenhouse Gas Protocol is the most widely used international framework for measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions. ISO 14064 provides additional requirements for quantification, monitoring and independent verification of emissions data.
