Danny Pollard

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Pollard, 54, a friend and colleague, on Tuesday, 1 February 2022.

Danny had been with us here at Powerday for more than 25 years. He worked at Old Oak Sidings for many years and for the past few years Danny had worked from our facility at Enfield.

Danny was an absolute gentleman and always had a brilliant sense of humour. Danny always had a way of putting a smile on your face. He would do anything for you…. And did!

Danny formed friendships with colleagues from all departments. He was very well respected and loved by all of us.

Danny was indeed a true family man. He would speak about Nicky, Emma and Stephen with such pride. He was absolutely devoted to them. The icing on the cake came when Elsie Belle arrived, making him a very proud Grandfather.

Our thoughts and prayers are now with all the Pollard Family. A big light has definitely gone out.
