Free Business Advice Provided At Powerday Hosted Wrap Workshop

Powerday hosted a business support workshop for recycling companies on behalf of WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) last week (October 23, 2012).
The half day event provided free advice on sales and marketing and covered a range of topics including knowing your market and competitors, getting pricing right, growth plans and how to harness traditional sales tools and social media.
Delegates were given a tour of the largest Materials Recycling Facility in the South East by Powerday’s Sales & Marketing Director Simon Little.
Brent Fowler, Recycling Industry Specialist for WRAP, delivered the event and said: “We are grateful to Powerday for providing the facility, refreshments and tour. It was the first time we had covered this topic in our workshop programme and Powerday’s support helped us to deliver a successful event for SME (small and medium enterprise) businesses operating in the waste industry.”
