Hazardous Waste Expert Re-joins Our Team

Hazardous waste expert Chris Batterbee has re-joined the Powerday team as Compliance Manager.

Chris previously worked for Powerday for seven years as Business Development Manager responsible for hazardous waste services across the company. After three years building even greater hazardous waste knowledge running his own waste business, Chris has brought his 20 years of waste experience back to Powerday.

In his new role, Chris will build on Powerday’s excellent COSHH waste provision and support the sales team with more challenging hazardous waste issues as well as fulfilling a wider remit that includes managing sampling and testing of the refuse derived fuels produced through our plant, helping to carry out permitting due diligence on any future developments and liaising with the Environment Agency.
