Investing In The Future With Skip And Vehicle Purchases
28th August 2012
Powerday remains committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, an approach that has seen successive years of growth. As one of London’s largest suppliers of skips, servicing many of London’s leading constructors, we have recently purchased over 200 new skip containers as well as adding a number of lorries to our fleet. This latest skip and vehicle investment will help maintain a service led approach and deliver increased efficiency, keeping up with the growing demand of customers seeking an alternative to landfill.
Powerday has more than doubled in size in the last four years and as the business expands it emphasises the importance of investing in new equipment in the present and in the future.
Simon Little, Sales & Marketing Director says: “As Powerday grows, it is essential that we continue to buy new skips and vehicles, so we can continue to deliver an excellent service to our customers. We have built a Materials Recycling Facility specifically for the construction industry in London so we need to ensure that we have the very best fleet of vehicles and skip containers supporting it”.
We were pleased to have awarded this contract to Powerday. They have delivered their services efficiently and reliably, achieved high recycling rates and 100% recovery, meeting our requirements throughout the project. They have been easy to deal with, reasonable and fair. We have been particularly impressed with their account management and waste reporting capabilities
