CELEBRATING A DECADE OF SUPPORTING TIR CHONAILL GAELS

Powerday is proud to celebrate ten years of sponsoring the Gaelic Athletic Association club, Tir Chonaill Gaels.

Formed in 1962, Tir Chonaill Gaels is one of the most successful Gaelic football clubs in Britain, running 13 teams for juniors and seniors, men and women.  We have sponsored and supported the Greenford based club, in the London Borough of Ealing, since 2012 and recently renewed our support until 2025.

As well as providing the grounds for Gaelic football games in London, the facility is a valuable hub for the community and a centre for the Gaelic Athletic Association in London. The club shares Powerday’s commitment to promoting health and wellbeing amongst players, supporters and the wider community.

Edward Crossan, Chief Executive Officer, Powerday says: “We are proud to have supported Tir Chonaill Gaels for the last decade and to have extended our support for another three years.  Our longstanding sponsorship of the club is a key part of our work to improve the health and wellbeing of young Londoners, whilst ensuring this Irish amateur sport continues to thrive in the UK.”

Powerday’s charitable activities are delivered by The Powerday Foundation which works to encourage participation and enjoyment of sport by as many young Londoners as possible, supporting a wide range of grass roots sports across London.
