New Powerday Lorries Displayed At Pawrs Show
20th June 2014

Powerday lorries were on display at this year’s Plant and Waste Recycling Show (PAWRS) which took place in Paignton, on the 10th, 11th and 12th of June.
PAWRS is held annually and is one of the biggest events in the waste and plant recycling industries. Exhibitors at PAWRS all exhibit new lorries and machinery from their companies. The event has been running for 29 years and has become one of the biggest events in the waste and plant recycling calendar. Companies from Europe make the journey to show the machines, as do companies from as far away as Canada and Pakistan.
Bill Cox, Powerday’s Transport Manager , shown below with Steve Bowdidge from Hyva , attended the event to show that our new fleet are now to Euro 6 standard and Crossrail compliant. Also the trailers have been changed with Hyva so that we can now load skips from the front and the rear, making skip exchange much easier and quicker. All new MAN vehicles are fitted with MAN telematics to reduce our vehicles’ carbon footprint, reducing our impact on the environment.
Bill said: “I felt proud to be exhibiting part of our new fleet having made the investment. We have received great reactions from our customers and we will continue to upgrade the fleet”.
