Powerday And Local Residents Take Part In Another Successful Annual Community Clear Up
15th July 2019

Last Saturday, Powerday alongside The Island Triangle Residents Association (TITRA), which is located adjacent to Powerday’s Old Oak facility, took part in the annual clean-up of the local area. Residents and Powerday staff work together to collect waste from alleys and pathways which is then recycled at Powerday’s state of the art Material Recycling Facility, near Willesden Junction Station.
This year a record 18 tonnes of waste was collected and recycled using a Powerday dustcart and five operatives.
John Mckenna, Powerday’s Operations Manager, commented: “We are delighted to be able to continue with this collaboration which enables us to help the local community and work together to achieve a clean and tidy neighbourhood”.
