Powerday Bolsters Events Team

Powerday has bolstered its events team with the appointment of Phil Reid as National Events Manager this month.
Powerday already works with a number of events and venues across London including Chelsea Football Club, Twickenham Rugby Stadium and Chelsea Flower Show. With a 1.6million tonne capacity facility in northwest London and 24 hour 7 day a week operations, Powerday is able ito work around event dates, match times and opening hours to suit these clients.
Backed by 15 years’ experience in the industry, Phil will be managing and building Powerday’s events business as well as providing on the ground support to clients.
Phil says: “Powerday is ideally situated and well equipped to service London’s events and venues. I am very pleased to join the team and look forward to building the events side of the business”.
Phil joins from international cleaning and waste management company, Cleanevent, where he managed all wastes for stadiums and arenas, shopping centres and events across the UK. Prior to that, Phil spent ten years as Commercial Services Manager for Veolia
