Powerday Enjoys Day At Masters Of Waste

Powerday enjoyed a day at the Masters of Waste golf tournament last week despite failing to reclaim the trophy they won two years ago.

The competition saw 28 teams from the waste and recycling industry head to The Oxfordshire in Thame. The Let’s Recycle organised event was blessed with a sunny day as the participants enjoyed the beautiful course, excellent food and a prize giving ceremony.

Powerday’s Team Captain, Derrick Franklin, said: “We enjoyed a very well organised day and some long overdue sunshine but couldn’t quite make the grade to win back the trophy. We would like to say a big thank you to Let’s Recycle for putting on such a great event and confirm we will be back next year to try again!”

We were pleased to have awarded this contract to Powerday.  They have delivered their services efficiently and reliably, achieved high recycling rates and 100% recovery, meeting our requirements throughout the project.  They have been easy to deal with, reasonable and fair.  We have been particularly impressed with their account management and waste reporting capabilities
