Powerday Launches its 2025/26 Manifesto
Powerday has officially launched its new 2025/26 Manifesto. This new manifesto sets out our priorities for the year ahead and demonstrates our continued commitment to responsible waste management, sustainability and positive social impact across London.
Originally developed five years ago, our sustainability strategy has been refreshed to ensure it remains aligned with emerging client priorities, the evolving policy landscape and a growing demand for measurable impact. The manifesto sets out our updated sustainability priorities through our newly refreshed four core pillars – Business Excellence, Climate Resilience, Sustainable Growth and Empowering Communities
Building on a legacy of sustainability and community investment
For many years, we have focused on delivering high quality waste management services while also driving environmental progress and investing in the communities we serve. Our ongoing work to increase recycling, divert waste from landfill and support young people in London remains central to who we are.
Our 2025/26 manifesto outlines how we will continue to build on this foundation.

Our manifesto outlines clear objectives across several key areas designed to strengthen both environmental performance and community engagement. These include:
We will continue to divert 100 percent of our clients’ construction and demolition waste from landfill and will work to move more material up the waste hierarchy wherever possible.
We remain committed to reducing our carbon impact across our operations and progressing towards our long term ambition of achieving net zero emissions.
We will continue to invest in our people through training, improved wellbeing initiatives and ongoing efforts to increase gender balance within management.
Through the Powerday Foundation and our wider community partnerships, we will continue to support young Londoners by providing opportunities in education, employment, sport and personal development.
We remain focused on delivering high standards of service, safety, compliance and innovation for all our clients across the capital.
