Powerday Launches National Brokerage Service

Powerday has launched a new national brokerage service in response to growing demand from contractors delivering major projects across the UK.

While construction activity in London declined during 2025, regional markets continued to expand, driven by increased investment in social and utility infrastructure. As contractors shift focus to these regional projects, many are now managing multiple sites across different parts of the country, each subject to increasingly stringent environmental and waste compliance requirements.

Powerday’s new national service is designed to address these challenges by offering clients a single, consistent waste management solution across all UK regions. The service extends Powerday’s established approach to compliance, sustainability, and industry expertise beyond its traditional London and South East operating areas.

To lead the expansion, Powerday has appointed Jack Connors as Associate Director, Powerday National. In this role, he will oversee the delivery of Powerday’s 100% landfill diversion solutions nationwide, working through a carefully vetted network of regional partners.

The brokerage model replaces the fragmented approach often faced by contractors, where separate waste suppliers must be sourced and managed in each region. Under Powerday National, clients benefit from a single point of contact, supported by approved suppliers operating to Powerday’s standards and governed by a comprehensive supplier code of conduct. This ensures consistent service levels, strong environmental performance, and robust compliance across every site.

Jack Connors brings more than 13 years of experience in the waste and recycling sector. He joined Powerday from Greenzone Facilities Management Limited, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. During his time at Greenzone, he progressed from Customer Support Advisor through a range of operational and leadership roles, gaining extensive experience in managing national supplier networks and multi-site service delivery. His work has been recognised through industry nominations including the Resource Hot 100 and Letsrecycle’s 35 Under 35 Awards.
