Powerday Publishes Interim Manifesto Ahead of Full 2025 Release
Powerday is pleased to announce the publication of our Interim Manifesto. This interim report outlines the progress we made during 2024 and the short-term objectives we are working towards until the end of our current financial year in July 2025.
Why an Interim Manifesto?
In 2024, we made the strategic decision to align our carbon reporting with our financial and social value reporting, moving from a calendar year to a financial year basis (August to July). This alignment enables us to streamline performance tracking and objective-setting across all areas of our business.
To support this transition, we are also bringing our annual Manifesto publication and sustainability objective setting in line with the new reporting period. As part of this process, we are conducting a materiality assessment and reviewing our sustainability pillars to ensure they remain relevant, ambitious, and impactful.
The Interim Manifesto, published in June 2025, allows us to maintain transparency and continuity during this period of change. It captures our sustainability performance throughout 2024 and outlines the immediate priorities we are working on until our new reporting cycle is complete.
Updated Baseline for Operationally Net Zero Target
As part of aligning our reporting, we have also updated the baseline year for our operationally net zero target, moving it from 2021 to 2020/21. This re-baselining has been carried out in accordance with our re-baselining policy to ensure consistency and accuracy in how we measure our progress. More details on this change will be shared in the coming months.
Looking Ahead
We’re currently developing our full Manifesto, which will be published in Autumn 2025. This comprehensive document will present updated targets, results from our materiality review, and detailed metrics aligned to our sustainability commitments.
