Powerday Retains Fors Accreditation

Powerday has retained its Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) bronze accreditation following a successful audit last month.

The accreditation scheme run by Transport for London is designed to help improve the safety and efficiency of freight delivery in London and the UK. Powerday was successful in all aspects of the audit which covers every aspect of transport management including health & safety, environmental impact, resourcing and training, vehicle maintenance and overall management.

Bill Cox, Transport Manager, Powerday says: “Powerday works hard to set industry standard and follow best practice in transport management and we are very pleased to see our efforts rewarded through the retention of our bronze accreditation.”.

Powerday’s certificate can be downloaded from the documents page.

We were pleased to have awarded this contract to Powerday.  They have delivered their services efficiently and reliably, achieved high recycling rates and 100% recovery, meeting our requirements throughout the project.  They have been easy to deal with, reasonable and fair.  We have been particularly impressed with their account management and waste reporting capabilities
