Powerday Retains Pas402 Recycling Reporting Standard
24th July 2017

Powerday has retained the recycling performance reporting standard PAS 402:2013 following the company’s recent audit.
As a leader in the field of recycling reporting, Powerday become the first waste management company in England to gain the standard, in 2015.
The PAS 402 standard is helping construction companies to increase recycling and reuse performance and reduce waste costs through increased visibility and understanding of what is happening to their waste. The standard and the corresponding Green Compass Scheme certification were developed by Constructing Excellence in Wales (CEW) whose efforts to minimise waste across the country were being held back by the lack of accurate and reliable reporting data.
Reaccreditation involved submission of extensive data and a comprehensive external audit of Powerday’s reporting processes by independent UKAS accredited Green Compass auditors.
Simon Little, Sales & Marketing Director, Powerday says: “We are very pleased to retain our accreditation. We continue to help our customers to improve their waste management practices by providing the highest quality recycling reporting that gives them a clear picture of what is happening with their waste and recommendations of how to minimise it.”
