Powerday Retains Pas402 Standard For Another Year
1st December 2018

Powerday has, once again, retained the recycling performance reporting standard PAS 402:2013
Powerday become the first waste management company in England to gain PAS 402 in 2015 and has retained the standard every year since.
The PAS 402 standard and corresponding Green Compass Scheme certification were developed by Constructing Excellence in Wales (CEW) whose efforts to minimise waste across the country were being held back by the lack of accurate and reliable reporting data. As well as standardising and verifying data quality, PAS 402 helps contractors to accurately identify materials that require attention for example those that could be reused or reduced, or those that could be recycled rather than sent to landfill.
The CIWM Journal has recently published an article on PAS 402 and its benefits. CIWM December 2018
