Powerday Sponsors Bedford Park Festival, Green Days
25th June 2019

Powerday has once again sponsored the annual Bedford Park Festival, Green Days, which took place on 8th and 9th June on Acton Green Common.
The Festival, which is organised by St Michael and All Angels Church, celebrates the local community by bringing together art and social activities. All the proceeds raised from the festival also go to charity.
Powerday provided a mixture of skips, wheelie bins and waste collections free of charge, to enable visitors to recycle with ease. All the waste that was produced was brought back to our Old Oak Sidings facility where it was recycled or recovered for renewable fuels, ensuring a 100% diversion from landfill.
Edward Crossan, Vice Chairman of Powerday commented: “We are delighted to sponsor the Bedford Park Festival again as they promote great environmental practices and at the same time raise money for charity. It’s a great event and I’m happy that it was so successful.”
