Powerday Sponsors Construction Zero Waste Awards

Powerday is sponsoring the construction category of the Let’s Recycle Zero Waste awards. This announcement comes days after launching our Sustainability and Wellness Manifesto, outlining how we are integrating sustainability throughout our business, and celebrates our environmental credentials with the construction industry.

The Zero Waste Awards recognise organisations working to reduce their waste to landfill. Let’s Recycle believe that working towards zero waste is an ongoing journey, and the scheme is structured so that businesses can celebrate their progress along the way.  Winners are evaluated by a panel of expert judges and then receive a one-to-five star rating, joining a 500 member community of sustainable businesses.

The Construction Zero Waste Awards are open to all those involved in the construction industry supply chain.  Businesses interested in applying have until 9^th April 2021 following an extended deadline due to Covid-19.  Winners will be announced at the Zero Waste Awards Ceremony.
