Powerday will be will be wishing many of their housebuilding clients luck at the WhatHouse? Awards today, known as the ‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry.

As a sponsor of the prestigious awards, Powerday will be celebrating the best new homes in the UK alongside an expected 1,600 industry representatives.  Taking place on 16th November, the Awards Gala Luncheon is held at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London.  Hosts this year are Jack Whitehall, Gabby Logan and Lawrence Dallaglio.

Powerday provides recycling and waste management services to many leading housebuilders who recognise the importance of managing their waste effectively and minimising their environmental impact whilst managing costs. Mick Crossan, Chairman, Powerday says: “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Whathouse Awards and to recognise the great work of those building new homes across the UK.  We look forward to what is always a great event and wish the best of luck to all those who have entered, particularly our clients”.

The most coveted award, Housebuilder of the Year, was won last year by Powerday’s long standing client The Berkeley Group who also picked up Best Large Housebuilder, Best Mixed-Use Development and Regeneration Scheme of the Year.
