Powerday Supports Yukon River Quest

Powerday recently supported former members of the London Irish coaching team and Interserve to raise money for Help for Heroes by participating in the Yukon River Quest.
The 14th annual canoe and kayak race started on 27th June in Whitehorse and ended 1st July at Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, challenging paddlers in a world class wilderness event. Athletes came from around the world to test their endurance, racing day and night along 715 km (440 miles) of rugged river shoreline to the Klondike in one of the most spectacular paddling races in the world.
The challenge and a Gala Charity Ball held last week raised over £82,000 for Help for Heroes – a great effort from all involved for a truly inspiring charity. Visit.
