Powerday And Wates Finalists At Lets Recycle Awards For Excellence 2011

Powerday and Wates attended Lets Recycle Awards for Excellence last week as finalists in the ‘Waste Management Initiative in the Commercial and Public Sector’ category.
The awards celebrate best practice and success in recycling and waste management. Powerday and Wates were shortlisted for their innovative and forward thinking partnership that has shown high levels of recycling through a first class solution, helping Wates towards its target of zero waste to landfill.
The event, hosted by Channel 4 News Presenter, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and held at The Savoy, London, brought together over 300 representatives from the recycling and waste industry.
Simon Little, Sales and Marketing Director, Powerday says: “It was a very enjoyable and well organised event, and a great opportunity to meet other organisations doing award winning work within the industry. We were pleased to be named as finalists and with some very exciting and innovative projects coming up, we hope to be an award winner next year’.
