Powerday welcomes back former director to drive RDF sales

Powerday has appointed Simon Little, to the new role of Associate Director to drive refuse derived fuel sales.

Simon re-joins our team after two and a half years employed in the wider waste management industry, both in the domestic energy-from-waste market and refuse derived fuel (RDF) export market.  In his new appointment, Simon will be primarily responsible for our production and disposal of RDF and recycled woodchip as we produce higher volumes of these waste-derived fuels.

Joint Managing Director, Jim Craig says: “As London’s leading independent producer of RDF, we are always looking for new outlets for our high quality and high volume materials.  Recognising the importance of this role in our business, we are very pleased to welcome back Simon with his unrivalled knowledge of our business and both the domestic and international RDF markets”.

Simon says: “I’m very happy to be back at Powerday, having stayed in touch with the team over the last couple of years, I have followed all the innovations and developments made over that time to keep the company at the forefront of the waste industry. I’m relishing the challenges of my new role and of sourcing new outlets as we produce ever increasing volumes of RDF.  I look forward to supporting the ongoing development of the company, re-connecting with old clients and partners, and working with new ones as we move forward.”

Simon originally worked for Powerday for 10 years in a sales and marketing capacity, supporting client relationships, business growth, external communications, together with community engagement and sports partnerships.

Simon is keen to speak to both domestic and international outlets for RDF and recycled wood chips and can be contacted on 020 8960 4646 or 07785 957245.
