With birds and all manner of aquatic life ingesting or getting caught in our plastic waste, as a planet we need to think about the impact our convenience based lifestyle has on the delicate ecosystem of the ocean.
That’s why we’ve designed a graphic to help illustrate the problem and get you thinking about where your plastics end up when you’re done with them. Sammy the Seal has gotten lost in the plastic waste, can you spot him in and amongst the deluge of plastic bags, bottles and other debris?
